There are many causes for heel pain that can effect
children and adults. Most heel pain is from inflammation
of the Plantar Fascia (Plantar Fasciitis), and some heel
pain may actually be caused by a nerve entrapment.
In children the most common cause of heel pain is
Calcaneal Apophysitis or pain at the growth plate.
Dr. Rocchio specializes in nerve entrapment and
Peripherd Neuropathy with evaluation based treatments
to eliminate this pain.
